As the saying goes, a thousand mile journey begins with a single step.  Kedra believes that the key to being happy in life is serving others. Kedra grew up in a small town, in Georgia. She became a  mom at the age of 16 and instantly had to figure out how to become a parent and deal with the challenges of adult life. From humble beginnings, she worked in numerous entry level positions to working her way through government agencies and the corporate sector. Her life experiences taught her early on the importance of sacrifice, asking for help and maintaining a positive outlook on life.Kedra made a decision, that changed her life. She joined the military(U.S. Army), where she learned leadership skills, self- discipline and how to hone her speaking skills.

In the military, she was chosen as the narrator and speaker for Chain of Command Ceremonies and other military events. Known for taking on challenges and maintaining focus, she made the rank of SGT in 2 years. Kedra has successfully faced many obstacles and hurdles, and she gives all credit to her faith and to God. After 4 years in the military, she used her G.I. Bill to attend college and received a B.S. in Business, from Fayetteville State University. She successfully passed the Army 's Professional Leadership Development Course.

Kedra is the CEO of Kedra Speaks LLC, doing business as KSB Consulting.
